Cher Pendarvis is a legendary surfer and artist who grew up in Southern California. Starting surfing in the 1960s, Cher helped pave the way for female surfers everywhere. A true trailblazer, Cher was the first female team rider and shaper at Channin Surfboards and first female art staff at Surfing Magazine. Cher continues to share her love of the ocean with vibrant paintings and illustrations (including our Mamala M-wave logo at bottom of webpage). Cher continues to build boards alongside husband Steve at PendoFlex Surfboards. Let’s try to live by one of Cher’s favorite mottos, “Every moment is precious”.
