Scripps Beach Cleanup & Surf Recap

Thank you to everyone that attended our beach cleanup and group surf! It was awesome to see so many Mamala suits in the water and have members of the Surfing Moms group and their kids help keep our beaches clean. We cleaned up about 4 lbs. of trash, much of it microplastics on the tideline consisting of water bottle caps, cigarette butts and tiny pieces of bright plastics that would have otherwise likely been eaten by marine life.
